The past months I have been filming with Duke Christie. We are still in the middle of filming and the final video will be published later this year. However, Duke is one of the artists who open their studios to the public during the NEOS event. North East Open Studios takes place from 7 till 19 September 2023. The video is a short edit of the footage we shot so far.
July 2023
In July I joined the Elgin’s Orchard Crew at the Traditional Boat Festival in Portsoy. During this event the video about the orchard was shown on a screen in the stand. It’s great to tell the audience about the process of producing apple juice and show them how it looks in real life with the video footage. While being there I made a wee video with my smart phone. I usually work with professional high quality camera’s but sometimes it is worth to use ‘just’ an iPhone. I was able to shot the video without preparation and to edit and publish it on the same day. The advantages of smart filming and social media!
